This high-performance DNA microarrayer takes full advantage of Kaken Geneqs' patented cutting-edge robotics technologies (jointly developed with Prof. T. Matsushima, Department of Molecular Preventive Medicine, The University of Tokyo). It can spot both on slide glasses and membranes.

  • Uniform spot size and precision movements enable preparation of high density microarrays
  • Innovative pin design (screw type) developed in-house
  • Selectable spot configuration: array pattern, inter-spot distance (0.2–0.5 mm), and array location
  • Small footprint with integrated water supply, drainage system, and compressor (external compressor optional)
  • Allows the use of slide glasses and membranes from other manufacturers
  • Thorough rinsing of the pin head (ultrasonic cleaning and vacuum ejector) prevents sample cross contamination
  • Automatic temperature control of PCR products (optional)
  • Temperature control system that guarantees optimum array environment (optional)
  • Auto-changer that handles up to 29 microplates automatically
